We collect contact information, such as your name and last name, email address, phone number,and email, which enable us to communicate with you and deliver our services; payment information required for processing payments for our services; and genetic data, including your DNA sample and the raw and analyzed genetic data, which are essential for delivering our genetic testing services.

Any personal information that may be requested from users will solely be used for the purposes specified in this privacy policy. The genetic data we obtain will be used solely to provide you with the requested services and generate your personalized report. We will retain your samples only for as long as necessary to complete our services. After this, your samples will be securely destroyed. The personal information we request is limited to the minimum necessary for providing the service; it will not be transferred to third parties that aren’t our collaborators.

We also collect other types of information including your IP address, browser type, operating system, website usage statistics, and the like. This information allows us to analyze trends, understand user behavior, optimize the website, and enhance user experience.

Your sensitive information is protected through encryption, ensuring no association can be established between your genetic data and your personal details. 

We retain your sample for the duration required to fulfill the purposes for which it was obtained. Following this period, it is securely destroyed.

In terms of test reliability and accuracy, all samples are processed in laboratories with the following certifications and accreditations:

  • ISO 17025: Accredited analytical excellence
  • ISO 13485: Oligonucleotides according to medical devices standard
  • GLP: The gold standard to conduct non-clinical safety studies
  • GCP: Pharmacogenomic services for clinical studies
  • cGMP: Products and testing according to pharma and biotech requirements

Your rights

You have certain rights regarding your data, including:

  • The right to access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • The right to rectification: You can ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data we hold about you.
